We have had lots of questions about our budget.  I too was confused about how much each fundraiser brought in and how PTC spent the money that we raise.  It was helpful for me to make a simple spread sheet with estimated expenses and revenues.  I was surprised by some of the numbers (the Sock Hop actually makes over $500, an error on the sheet!).  The bottom line is that with the existing fundraisers and current expenses, we come out about $3000 ahead.  This money can be used for smaller projects or set aside for larger ones (such as the recent computer lab update!).  If we want to make bigger changes, then we will need to specifically fundraise for those activities.
